I agree, but Macy's is just. macy's. Just get beyond the blue shirt. And I only sent you the best in the way of books and links... really. I got them from male friends who are OCD about this stuff.

Haha - thanks for the advice Shana. I don't really like Bloomies for whatever reason. And every man needs to have a least one blue shirt - it was time for me to get a new one :)

In general I think it's not important where men buy their stuff. Mostly because shops have always taken us to be dumb about fashion and they treat us that way with regard to choice.

I think a lot of men aren't blind to fashion. We just don't want to waste time doing it. Hence Vlad going in with the intention of buying a blue shirt. We normally know what we want when we go in. Now it seems they're messing with that!

This should be a non-issue. Though I'm slowly turning into a clotheshorse. And I heart fashion. And I'm told to read Fred's daughters blogs (i don't to stay uncreepy) to be more fashionable, even though I could see myself in a bit of CDG. Among others. Go Soho.

First learn the classics. Then learn how to f*** the classics. You'll be fine. And for god sakes, stop only wearing blue shirts, and stop going to Macy's unless you are getting a great deal. Though maybe the men's department is different; I get no love from them unless it is an amazing deal that I can't get elsewhere, or cosmetics, or it is secretly marshall fields. Gone to hell. Bloomies. Bloomies. Soho. The fashion email lists. Please.

And now, you see, how I am really a girly-girl. I will wear bright stockings, or patterned stockings, a basic dress, and one of your dress shirts opened with funky cufflinks over it with some bright necklace. This never actually shows up in life on AVC....you all will never be like this, and if you became this, I would stare.
